A Recipe for Adventure

I want to share a recipe for adventure that we tried today. It was experientially delicious!
Our dog was not part of the recipe today and she was not happy about that. She kept hoping, if she kept her eyes on the party, that maybe, just maybe, someone would bike back and get her.

Okay, back to the recipe .Here is how you make a really good adventure at 12 degrees.
1.Bike from the house
2. Find challenging elements and add in as many as you can find.

 3. Do not add in any groomed ski trails, this will ruin your recipe (and reputation).
4.Add in only ORGANIC multi use trails and single tracks.
 5. Climb.
And keep climbing.

 6. Continue climbing til you get the correct fatigue level in your muscles
7. If temperatures alter at all, just keep climbing
 8. We happen to have found mountain views to the north, south, east and west. We added all of them in to this recipe. It helped the flavor!
 9. Do not add any wind.
 10. When done climbing the temps may cool a bit, just add layers.
11. If temps get too cool, take full advantage of Toe warmers.
12. BTW- in this recipe, toe warmers can be used on toes, fingers, and any other body part that is chilly. Add as desired.
13. When done mixing all these ingredients, head back down the hills, and enjoy this  "recipe" with friends over a cup or two of HOT chocolate!
Join us next time and you can learn what we would substitute for an even better Recipe next time!!
