Whitefish, Montana

One of our goals of this trip was to explore The Flathead Valley (Whitefish) and we have been doing that this week. It has felt like dry cool fall weather and colors are slowly changing. It is nice to have Scamp on the chilly mornings. We have loved the trails that network and cover many mountain sides here in the Whitefish area. We have connected with friends-old and new-many locals have directed us in the right areas to explore.

We will stay one more night and go to a couple local events…Taste of Kalispell and First Thursday in Whitefish. Our stay at the Whitefish Bike Retreat has been awesome! If you are ever passing through- look it up and either, tent, camp or stay in their bunk house. Cricket is wonderful and her vision for this place is inviting, relaxing and inspiring all in one!

Spent a while watching Amtrak arrive and depart. Nice to have trains locally.
