We started our day in Burns lake, hiked their local Nordic ski trails and then drove east and then south through the park. We did Jasper NP in one day. It happened to be a holiday weekend in Canada, so we braced ourselves for masses…but we were pleasantly surprised. we always found parking at trail heads, no traffic on the road through the park - it was delightful. We hiked up across from the Columbia Icefields and Athabasca Glacier. We had a day of incredible scenery, incredible!

We slept in Golden and now head down to Kimberely for a 5 day stay and pick up ANNE for the next leg of our adventures.
