Back in the U. S. of A.

We LOVED our time in Canada.
 We just loved it.
Did I tell you, we loved Canada?
Can't wait to return.

We stopped into Fernie, B.C. for one last taste of Canada before crossing over into the states.

We have arrived in Whitefish, Montana to a gorgeous 20 acre farm with sheep, horses, chickens, dogs and more.

 It is raised up on a hill above a horse pasture and about 5 miles out of town. We will hike today and then see what the afternoon brings.
It has been fun to explore all these little ski towns and compare hills and trails and town cultures.

As I type,  my mom sits like a little child at a window waiting for the owners to go feed the baby sheep, let the horses out to pasture and get the farm awake for the day.
