Every glass has a half full and a half empty. On this day we had a perfect balance of both:
blue bird skies vs. 1 degree temperature
10 min drive vs 1 hour skin
sunny and warmer on the ridge tops vs cold and dark down low
1st ski of the season vs best ski of the season yet.

Nice pics, Liz! Snow looked a little thin, but really nice. (way more than we have here at this point!) Also love the new blog format, I'm tempted to give mine a facelift too!
