(above) Everyone including the dogs try to find the morning sun on the weekends, during the winters in Alaska. Above, the girls are getting their doggy dose of Vitamin D on Saturday morning

(above) We found a Sport Dog Competition on a sports channel and Jupe loved it. There were labs doing high jumps and relays. We practiced a few of the moves and she may have potential as a jumper, but our question is...Is there ever a right time for a Lab to jump up?

(above) We finally graduated puppy school!!! Like Mark Twain said(?), Glad I did it! Mainly b/c I will never have to do it again.

(above) Sunshine hoggers above. (below) Jupe finds her way into the sun, even if Skip finds the rays first.

(below)Halloween with candy being served in the big wooden bowl either my folks, or grandparents used to use. I am not sure they used to dress up as a pumpkin.

Sorry it has been so long! Rather than excuses, we will just share our latest Jupiter and Izzy pictures. As we always say, pictures tell the best stories.
*On a side note, like a Where's Waldo see if you can find the four family pieces of Art in the above photos that are done by family members. There is a watercolor by my grandmother of chalets in Switzerland, a watercolor by my Mother-in-law of a shack on the waters edge, a watercolor by my brother-in -law of a favorite beach up (down) the coast of Maine, and a painted pottery plate by my niece and nephew showing how big they are growing. We may live far away from you all, but we absolutely love having you all part of our daily lives in one form or another.
** Okay while we are onto game playing, see if you can find a moose that was given to us by Rick as a wedding gift. It is small, but it is there...
