10 reasons why we love snow in October

1. The bears are on their way to finding a den for the winter. Good Night.
2. The snow allows us to see all sorts of animal tracks i.e. bunnies, moose, and coyote.
   
3. The Moose become a lot more visible on the bright white ground cover by the road sides
   
4. No need for head lamps during early morning and evening dog walks
   
5. Jupiter our black lab becomes visible in the dark of night
   
6. Hot tea becomes a cozy addition to most evenings.
7. Everything seems to slow down in our day to day living when the snow has fallen.
8. If it sticks, that means there will be snow for when Gammie comes to visit to try skate skiing in November (?)
   
9. It becomes light NOT dark in the winter when snow falls in October
10. It gives me a great reason to Blog!
