Jupiter's first big hike

Memorial day weekend was the anniversary of bringing Jupiter into our home a year ago. What a summer project she was last summer. She came with us up McHugh this past weekend and she loved it. She could go on forever. The alpine flowers were in bloom, the snow is melting fast and the sun was shining BIG.

I got the sweet peas planted in the garden and some dahlias a neighbor gave me to try. They are on the deck in large planters. I will take pics when color begins to show.
The sweet peas had grown inside so fast, they are already climbing the trellises in the garden. All is greening up fast, trails are in great shape for biking. Bugs have arrived as have the baby moose. We have a set of twins in the hood, though we have not gotten a sighting yet.
School is out and summer is here!
