Jupiter update

Many folks have requested a Jupiter update. I was away in Montana for a week and Jupiter has definitely grown taller. She had her second round
of shots yesterday and weighs 22.1 lbs.

She and Izz have an incredibly mature relationship now. Izz does her thing, Jupe watches from close by and if Jupe can't control her "happy puppy" energy and leaps towards Izz's adult jowls, tails or ears, Izz just turns and moves away. If Jupe decides to lick the dripping water from Izzy's post drink jowls, Izzy allows her to.

When it is time to "Kennel up", for bedtime, nap time or car travel, Jupe will beeline it across the house, over furniture and through closed doorways to get inside her kennel. (the power of treat training...:) It is similar to watching the roadrunner cartoon, or Fred Flintstone taking off in his 2 legged "vehicle"

When her bladder is full, she no longer squats on the closest dog bed, she stands at the glass door with one eye facing outward and one looking back as if to say, Okay I will "go-potty" now. When we open the door, she pushes through the loose screen cloth, heads down the stairs one step at a time. If there was a sound with her movement it would be
ker-plunk,
ker-plunk,
ker-plunk

Once at the bottom, she crosses the paved path and she pees on the wood chips. All the while her masters stand above hollering"good potty Jupiter! YESSSS, Good girl"

It is times like this you can only wonder what our JUPITER drive neighbors are thinking of us???
