We went kiting for the first time. Skip's brother is way into "kite boarding" and actually sells kites through KiteZombies.com and sent us a practice kite recently. I was hesitant until I tried it. We went to the local elementary school and it was a blast. This kite is a training kite for those ready to move onto either kiting on water or on snow (someday?)It was so fun and we even awoke this morning to look outside and asked... "any wind for kiting?"
Skip was able to get a day of spring skiing in also this weekend and saw a Dall Sheep on the rocks close to his summit.

The trails are still very wet locally, so no biking yet and the snow on the hills is slowly diminishing, so there has been lots of daily jogs and crafting on the weekends. The snow has stopped falling (we hope), the garden beds are exposed with dollops of ice here and there, and the geese have arrived back in town. This weekend has brought a variety of activities to our household. We have a ton of friends having babies, so a new Aunt Fizz Craft was initiated thanks to my sister in laws in Maine who taught me this. Painting Onsies!!! Take a peek below...
