Well it has been warm and melting for the past week and a half, but finally it got below 35 and the local groomers have worked magic on the skate trails. We rallied with a couple friends to get out and enjoy the trials post work on Friday.
The Tour of Anchorage is a week away and I am planning to attempt the 25k skate ski- a flat but long ski race that is about having fun and just finishing. I did it two years ago in less than 2 hours, so that is my goal-2 hours. We shall see.
