Happy New YEAR!!!!

We survived another year and now welcome 2008. We ended 2007 with a visit to West Palm Beach and the Norton Art Gallery. It was a wonderful cultural experience that brought to light many artistic inspirations ranging from Chinese Buddhist icons, Medieval Ivory carvings and jewels, Leonardo's scientific creations and journals, Chihuly's glass works, photography of American Life and many famous painters works.

We took some scenic routes home through West Palm and had lunch at City Place with the biggest outdoor tree I have seen yet in Florida.

We closed 2007 with a long walk, some pool Olympics and a home cooked meal.

We started the new year with a morning paddle this morning into the "Hole in the Wall" that found us many colorful crabs on the limbs of red mangrove trees, many Ibis and Herons lurking on the shores, and osprey getting their fish for breakfast.

One more day and then a flight back to fresh fallen snow in Anchorage!

Another wonderful vacation in Florida comes to an end, but leaves us with more ideas of what to do the next time we visit.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
